HYDRIC CRITERIA

2A -  Somewhat poorly drained with a water table above 6 inches

2B -  Poorly or very poorly drained with a water table

         2B-1 -  above 6 inches and a sandy texture above 20 inches

         2B-2 -  above 12 inches and the permeability is 6 inches or more in the upper 20 inches

         2b-3 -   above 18 inches and the permeability is less than 6 inches within 20 inches

3 --    Ponded for long duration.

4 --    Frequently flooded for long duration.

(Soils with 2A, 2B1, 2B2, or 2B3 alone are hydric only due to saturation.)
